We knew instantly that Craig and his team were a perfect fit for our project, a 100 year old Bungalow that needed the floor plan completely reimagined. Belltunga Toorak Gardens
An imposing jewel in Adelaide’s leafy eastern suburbs, over the past two years Belltunga has seen a dramatic interior and exterior renovation to every inch of the property that has sensitively contemporised this grand old home.
Our clients’ goal was to preserve the historic home’s exterior, while creating a more modern footprint suited to family living. We closely partnered with the clients and architect throughout during the design phase. Our interior design team were also heavily involved throughout the project, supporting the clients with all selections, soft furnishings and furniture, bringing beautiful cohesion to the space.
The calibre of workmanship is evident to every inch of this home. A few of the standout and unique features of the project included reconfiguring the formal entrance to the home, installation of structural timber beams to enable the addition of a home office within the existing roof space, as well as framing out for a large recess in the ceiling, which houses the massive custom made plaster ceiling dome and the home’s original chandelier, which was carefully relocated.
